Dr. Cao uses his over 18 years clinical experience to successfully relieve pain and promote healing with acupuncture, therapeutic Tui-Na acupressure, cupping, moxibustion. He has helped numerous people achieve natural relief and a balanced healthy life without the often harmful side effects of drugs and surgery. In our center, the whole person is treated to keep the body’s systems in balance and to overcome illness and injury. More than one kind of therapy may be recommended.

Meet the Acupuncturist
Kewei Cao ( L.Ac. LMT)
His specialty is acupuncture and Tui-na for pain management.
He is a Nationally Board-Certified and Licensed Acupuncturist in Maryland and Virginia. He is a graduate of Harbin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Heilongjiang, China 2006.
After years clinical practice as an acupuncturist and chiropractor in Affiliated Hospital of Harbin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Mudanjiang Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Heilongjiang, China. Then he moved to the United States in 2012. He graduated from Virginia University of Integrative Medicine with a Master Degree of Acupuncture. He became a Virginia and Maryland licensed acupuncture physician and massage therapist. With his extensive knowledge of both Western and Chinese therapies, and his ability to individualize treatments, enabled many people to make a speedy return to health after injuries and pains.

A Chinese technique that is a process of cups suctioned onto the body’s meridian system for the purpose of drawing out toxins, pain management, increasing blood flow, stimulating circulation, relieving swelling, promoting a healthier flow of chi energies, and greatly enhancing an acupuncture or Electro-acupuncture treatment.
